If you are concerned about rebate availability, the important graphic to look at is “Total Rebates Processed.” That chart shows how much of the available rebate funds have been distributed as a percentage of the total amount available for that jurisdiction. If you would like to calculate the likelihood of receiving a rebate before completing any improvement projects, you can estimate the number of rebates already in the pipeline by multiplying the “Average Rebate Processed” by the number of “Approved Participants.” Rebates are not reserved for approved participants and are paid on a first come first served basis to those who submit Rebate Request Forms after their improvement projects are complete. Thus, this would only provide you with an estimate of the total amount of rebates that may be requested by those participants already approved to participate in the program and does not reflect the fact that some improvements take less time than others so those requests will be made before others. This is only an estimate and is not a guarantee of funds availability, but may help in your evaluation of rebate availability.
In addition to funds availability, the graphics in these reports indicate the number of pending and approved applications, the number and value of Do It Yourself Kits and the value of the home energy improvements that have resulted from the approved rebate requests (both by total value and by rebate category).
