Local Rebate Programs
Get Energy Smart
DwellGreen is proud to be the Program Administrator for the Get Energy Smart (GES) Rebate Program, a federally funded initiative involving Sarasota County and cities of Sarasota, North Port, and Venice that provides up to $3,750 in cash rebates per homeowner for completing certain energy saving home improvements.
While supplies last, approved program participants are eligible to receive free, do-it-yourself efficiency improvement kits including compact fluorescent light bulbs, smart power strips, faucet aerators and rope caulk. Each participant will also be eligible for rebates on the cost of whole house energy audits, lighting renovations, ENERGY STAR appliances, ENERGY STAR ceiling fans, ENERGY STAR windows and doors, solar water heaters, insulation, duct repair/sealing, air conditioning or heat pump efficiency upgrades, radiant roof barriers and solar attic fans.
